British Sign Language is fundamentally linked with the British Deaf community, therefore we will first teach you some background information about BSL and then give you some tips on communicating with people who have a hearing loss.
We’ll then show you how to sign the alphabet and numbers, which are the building blocks for literacy and numeracy; key components of any language.
BSL is a vibrant and expressive language rich in history. You’re about to embark on a rewarding journey that will open up a whole new world of communication and allow you to interact with the Deaf community.
